As an organisation, Sydney Trains has undertaken a massive design refresh with signage, stations and trains getting a makeover. The new corporate orange is a feature colour in this new office. Here the orange of these conversation booths boosts the mood of those using them. Orange is energetic, optimistic, happy and uplifting.

The kitchen features the Sydney Trains new corporate orange. Timber panels are reminiscent of traditional railway sleepers. The kitchen is functional and designed for a large group of staff, but demonstrates that functional doesn’t mean utilitarian. This is industrial chic on a grand scale.
